Dairymen: The Moo-sical features the story of two farming families as they negotiate the challenges and rewards of operating an agricultural business in a modern world.   Many of those challenges are those all of us face: financial, launching our young-adult children, mid-life questions about vocation and aging gracefully .  Although the play is a comedy with lots of laughs, there are poignant moments for a few tears as well.    Dairymen premiered in Kewaskum, Wisconsin to nearly full houses.  Many patrons drove hours to see “the play written about us dairy farmers”   and were rewarded with “the best Saturday night we ever had.”    Although we received a huge amount of press and support from the agricultural community in Wisconsin;  this is not a play that only farmers can appreciate and enjoy.   It is a story for everyone.   The score features a variety of styles of music that complement the lyrics: ragtime, jazz, blues, country, polka and more.

We will be releasing performance rights in the near future; possibly the fall season of 2014.  If you are interested in performing Dairymen in your community, follow the contact link.
